The Annello Dolomiti Friulane is a circular trail that connects 4 different refuges in the Friulan Dolomites. Here it is quiet, pristine and wild – no comparison to the German-speaking valleys further west. Even though the nearest valleys are never far away in terms of kilometres – it feels very far from civilisation.

We mainly hike on medium (red) trails, partly very narrow paths also with exposed parts. The tour is physically demanding with up to 7 hours of walking per day.

On the first day there will be an introductory tour with equipment check in the Forni di Sopra / Forni di Sotto region. We then return once more to our starting point, from where we start the tour the next day.

Accommodation is in shared rooms and, where possible, in hotels / inns in double rooms. For arrival and departure, an overnight stay at the campsite is also possible.

Start and finish are identical. It is possible to arrive there by bus and train, but requires careful planning.
