We will organize dinner every night and on most days will be able to eat at one of the refuges along the way.

Requirements: Membership in the German Alpine Club, surefootedness, no fear of heights, fitness for daily stages of up to 8 hours walking time and 1,200 meters of altitude in the ascent, in some cases more in descent.

Since 2019 the “Geotrail” exists. It is following existing paths through the dolomited. Since last summer, it is also at least partially signposted. It shows geologically significant rock formations and the evolution of the Dolomites. At the same time, it is a beautiful trail. We hike on medium-difficulty (red) paths, with two wire-rope-secured passages, some parts are also quite exposed. The tour is physically demanding with up to 8 hours of walking per day. We will be rewarded with incomparable nature and a great dolomite crossing.
On the first day we will do a local tour with equipment check in the region of Val Gardena. We then return once again to our starting point from which we start the next day. The last day of the Geotrail (Saturday) is a half day, the tour ends at the parking lot of Val Fiscalina. From there individual extension of your stay or return journey.
Accommodation is in refuges in shared rooms and where possible in hotels / inns in double rooms.
Since the start and end points are different, it is recommended to arrive and depart by train.
