Winter freshness in the Dolomites – hike, relax, recharge.

Hiking from a set location, we enjoy winter from its most beautiful side – hiking in the Dolomites. In winter, the air there is crystal clear and the probability of good weather is high. We avoid places with skiing hustle and bustle, but hike in one of the most beautiful and secluded hiking domiciles of the Dolomites: the nature reserve Schlern / Rosengarten, possibly also going out the Latemar mountains.

Depending on the snow conditions, we are on the move with spikes (“snow chains for the shoes”) or with snowshoes, but always in avalanche-free terrain. We often walk on tracked trails, sometimes (e.g. after fresh snow) we’ll lay the track ourselves. The day tours are less demanding in terms of altitude and duration than in summer (max. 1,000 hm and 6 hours walking time, most tours are 600 – 800 hm).

The exact tour planning depends on snow and weather and will be discussed with the participants the evening before. With little snow, many trails around 2,000 m altitude are also well passable.

We stay at a comfortable 3-star hotel with excellent cuisine. After hiking, the swimming pool with water from the hotel’s own spring and a small sauna area offer relaxation. More information on www.weisslahnbad.com
