Physical fitness and technique

Physical fitness and appropriate mastering of hiking techniques are important factor when you’re hiking. There is a safety and a fun component:

Safety because there more fitness reserves you have, the better you can react to unforeseen events. And the mountains can provide unpleasant surprises that even we as experienced guides can’t foresee.

Fun because it is so much more enjoyable hiking within your comfort zone – enjoying nature and views instead of being always maxed out. We’re not saying no to a good challenge – but a challenge all week long?
